Whitsunday detectives are appealing for public assistance following an alleged assault which occurred in Airlie Beach on February 8.
Around 1:50am four women were sleeping inside of an unlocked campervan on Shute Harbour Road when a male person has entered and assaulted two of the women before running off.
The women were not physically injured.
