Hundreds of tourists have been left high and dry after a Gold Coast business had its lease terminated and premises padlocked overnight amid an increasingly bitter Marina redevelopment battle.
A day after police were called, locks were snapped and workers threatened to tow a tour operator’s boat at the Mariners Cove precinct at Main Beach, workers at Paradise Jet Boating arrived on Wednesday morning to find the locks changed and an eviction notice stuck to the front door.
