One of Australia’s most iconic bodies of water is about to get a major facelift.
The federal government will spend $45.2 million on “critical repair work” for Sydney Harbour, with the funds to be allocated in Tuesday’s 2023-24 budget.
Environment and water minister Tanya Plibersek said the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust was responsible for conserving and managing nine sites.
