A group of tourists has been rescued following reports of a capsized vessel in waters in the Whitsundays.
Volunteer Marine Rescue Whitsundays was called to assist in the marine incident.
Initial reports suggested it involved five French nationals on a “party boat”, which overturned about 5.30pm Sunday.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said QPS were called to assist with officers waiting at Coral Sea Marina for the group to return to land.
