A new church that will be available for all denominations has been given the green light. Read when it is expected to open.
River Church Whitsundays currently runs out of a private home in Airlie Beach but has owned a 2ha parcel of land of Shute Harbour Rd at Cannon Valley since 2016 “for the purposes of constructing a church”.
There are currently only two churches in the existing Whitsunday urban area – one of which hosts services for four religious denominations on Sunday.
