Kochi: It is a cruel irony that even as Malayali sailor Abhilash Tomy sailed solo around the world to global recognition, Kochi’s own international marina is in a desolate condition, with 36 berths for yachts remaining unutilized.
Yachts sailing in and out of Kochi International Marina (KIM), the only international Marina in India, was a common sight until a few years ago.
