A police critical incident team is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 75-year-old man at Coffs Harbour on the NSW Mid North Coast on Wednesday.
The man was reported missing just before 11am to officers from the Coffs-Clarence Police District.
About five hours later, at 4pm, officers went to the man’s home to conduct inquiries, but could not locate him.
Police say they found the body of the missing man at Coffs Harbour’s Hampshire Close at 6:30pm, about two hours after officers attended the man’s home.
