Council charged after father, son drown

A regional council charged by the workplace safety regulator after a father and his five-year-old son drowned in a public lagoon have been dealt a major court blow.

A five-year-old boy and his father have drowned while on holiday on the Queensland coast. The boy and 30-year-old man were pulled from the water at Airlie Beach lagoon on Sunday afternoon after both suffering from cardiac arrest.
