A boat is on fire in Port Phillip Bay, south of Melbourne‘s city centre, sending plumes of black smoke into the sky.
One resident who called into radio station 3AW said the vessel is about a kilometre from the Harbour at Elwood Beach.
“I can see huge flames coming out of it,” he said.
