A boat has burst into flames on Melbourne‘s Port Phillip Bay, sending huge plumes of black smoke into the sky.
Large flames have been seen engulfing the entirety of the boat, which was about one kilometre from Elwood Beach.
9News understands two men have been rescued from the boat after the fire broke out about 12.10pm.

Ambulance Victoria has confirmed it was called to the fire in St Kilda about 12.10pm, with paramedics assessing two people who did not need emergency treatment.
