Big change coming to Sydney Harbour

The state government will spend $43 million on an important alteration to the iconic Sydney Harbour.

The Aboriginal flag will permanently fly atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of new measures to acknowledge Australia’s Indigenous community. The Australian and New South Wales flags are hoisted on the bridge currently, and the Aboriginal flag is displayed 19 days a year.
