Activists hit Newcastle port as police watch Harbour and Anzac bridges

Climate activists have again shut down the coal operation at Port of Newcastle today and police are on high alert to stop protests on Sydney’s Harbour and Anzac bridges.

An activist also brought an hour of traffic chaos to the Port of Melbourne for a third consecutive morning by hanging off Footscray Road, disrupting six lanes of traffic.

The woman fangled for one hour before police took her down around 9am AEST.
